Gammarus is a small (approx. 1-2 cm) crustacean of the order Amphipoda (Amphipoda). Gammarus is an important element of the diet for freshwater turtles and tortoises living in the wild.
Gammarus feed is a dried, easy-to-use gammarus feed that provides many micro- and macroelements and beta-carotene - a natural colorant from the carotenoid group. Beta-carotene intensifies the colors and plays an important role in many physiological processes of the animals, keeping them in a perfect condition. But above all, gammarus is a source of chitin - a substance that regulates the functioning of the digestive tract, protecting them from dangerous effects of constipation. Gammarus is intended for terrestrial water turtles and large fish species in aquariums and ponds.
